To mark the closing weekend of the exhibition Nature. Science. Ceramics., Andreas Deutsch will lead a personal gallery tour and speak about the origins of the project and the dialogue between natural science, historical botanical illustration, and contemporary ceramics.
The exhibiting ceramic artist Dr. Alexandre Micoulet will also be present. The exhibition closes on 30 August 2026.

Keramik-Museum Bürgel
The exhibition explores how form emerges between natural processes and ceramic practice. Historical ceramics, botanical teaching models, contemporary ceramics, and the work of three pioneers of natural science—including Nathanael Pringsheim—enter into a dialogue about structure, development, and evolution.
Curated by Andreas Deutsch, the exhibition presents scientific observation and artistic creation as related ways of understanding form, pattern, proportion, surface, and transformation.
